DESCRIPTION:Rabbi Erica Asch serves as the Rabbi at Temple Beth El in Augus
 ta\, Maine\, where she has been for the last 12 years. She was ordained in
  2008 from Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion (Cincinnati) 
 and spent the first years of her rabbinate in Washington\, DC\, working as
  a community organizer. She also works as Senior Program Associate for the
  Center for Small Town Jewish Life\, an organization dedicated to creating
  vibrant\, equitable Jewish communities in small towns in Maine and beyond
