Jean Thompson will share her experience as the editor of “Anatomy of a Friendship: A Dual Memoir of Women’s Journey Through War to Peace.” “Anatomy of a Friendship” is the double memoir of Cecile Spiegel and Diane Tuckman in their own words. It explores the strength and perseverance of these two women, who crossed continents in pursuit of safety and a place to call home. One escaped the Holocaust, the other fled religious persecution in Egypt. Their lives intersected in Maryland.
Jean Thompson is currently the Senior Communications Associate at the Annie E. Casey Foundation and previously held editor roles at the New York Times and The Baltimore Sun.
